Refund policy
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, receives the item.
To exercise this right, inform us of your decision within those 14 days by email at lorettefleurigand@gmail.com. You may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but you are not obliged to do so. Sending your message before the 14 days have passed is enough — the item does not need to have arrived back with us by then.
After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the item. Return it complete, in its original condition, and packed well enough to survive transport. Ceramics break easily: please reuse the original box and packing material where possible.
You pay the cost of the return shipment. We recommend sending your return as an insured parcel, because you carry the risk until it reaches us.
During the withdrawal period, handle the item with care. You may unpack and inspect it as you would in a shop, but if you use it beyond what is needed to assess it, we may charge you for the resulting loss in value.
We refund the full purchase price plus the standard delivery cost you paid, within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal. We may wait to pay until we have received the item back. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, at no cost to you.
If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard option, we refund the standard rate only.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as a commissioned piece made specially for you. If you order a commission, we will tell you this before you buy.
Every piece is packed by hand and checked before it leaves. If your parcel arrives damaged anyway, email lorettefleurigand@gmail.com within 7 days with photos of the item and of the packaging, including the outside of the box. We will arrange a refund or, where possible, a replacement. Please keep the packaging until we have settled the matter, as the carrier may want to inspect it.
Handmade variation is not a defect
Each piece is thrown and glazed by hand. Small differences in glaze colour, surface texture, thickness and shape are inherent to the technique and are not defects. The photographs on the product page show the actual piece you will receive.
Beyond this right of withdrawal, you have the statutory rights of a consumer under Dutch and European law: the item must match its description and be fit for normal use. If it is not, contact us and we will put it right.
