These terms apply to every offer, order and agreement between Lorette Fleurigand and you as a consumer.

These terms apply to all purchases made through this webshop. Before or when you place your order, these terms are made available to you and you can save or print them. Our return and refund policy and our shipping policy form part of these terms.
Every item in this shop is hand-thrown, hand-built and hand-glazed by Lorette Fleurigand, and each is a one-off. Small differences in glaze colour, texture, thickness and shape are inherent to the technique and are not defects. The photographs on the product page show the actual piece you will receive. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen.
Unless a product page says otherwise, items are sold as decorative objects and are not intended for contact with food or drink.
All prices are in euros and include any legally required charges. Under the Dutch small business scheme (kleineondernemersregeling, article 25 of the Wet op de omzetbelasting 1968) we do not charge VAT, so no VAT is added to or shown on your order. Delivery costs are shown separately before you complete your order.
Obvious errors in pricing or description do not bind us. If a price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel the order at no cost.
The agreement comes into effect once you have completed your order and we have confirmed it by email. Because every piece exists only once, an item can sell while it is in your basket; if a piece turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will tell you promptly and refund you in full.
Payment is made at checkout using one of the methods offered. We dispatch after payment has been received.
We deliver to the address you provide. Delivery times are indications and are not guaranteed. The risk of damage or loss passes to you once you, or a party you designated, have received the item. Our shipping policy sets out what happens if a parcel arrives damaged.
You have 14 days to cancel your order without giving a reason. How this works, and the exceptions for commissioned pieces, are set out in full in our return and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
The item must match its description and be fit for normal use. If something is wrong, email lorettefleurigand@gmail.com with a description and photographs. We reply within 5 working days with a substantive response or, if we need longer to look into it, with a date by which you will hear from us.
If we cannot resolve your complaint together, you may take the matter to the competent Dutch court. Consumers in another EU country can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their country; in the Netherlands that is ECC Nederland.
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item concerned, except in cases of intent or gross negligence on our part, and except where the law does not permit such a limitation. We are not liable for damage caused by using an item in a way it was not intended for, such as using a decorative object for food or drink, exposing it to heat, or placing it in a dishwasher.
Wash by hand with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Ceramics are not suitable for the dishwasher, microwave or oven, and glazed surfaces can craze if exposed to sudden changes in temperature.
The designs, photographs and texts in this shop belong to Lorette Fleurigand and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
Dutch law applies to these terms and to every agreement made under them. This does not affect the protection that the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence gives you.
